WHAT TO EXPECT WORKING WITH A REAL ESTATE INVESTOR

There is often a fear of the unknown, or a hesitation to go down a path that you may not be accustomed to. That’s why we want to take the time today to give you 3 great things you can expect when working with a real estate investor. We also provided an example demonstrating these points from real deals that we’ve been a part of.

1.     Real Estate Investors are Understanding – Real estate investors are understanding of your unique situation. We’ve seen and worked with all kinds of people dealing with all kinds of circumstances. It’s never the same, and we will be sensitive to your individual needs throughout the entire process.
EXAMPLE: We worked with a woman who was recently widowed and had fallen behind on her mortgage payments. She had lived in the house for the last 8 years and did not know where she would go if she had to leave. We worked it out by taking over her mortgage and allowing her to stay there and just pay rent until she was able to secure a new place. She moved in with her daughter a few months later and was able to avoid going into foreclosure!

2.     Real Estate Investors are Creative Thinkers – Because no two clients, houses or situations are the same, we have to be creative thinkers. How we solve your housing needs is going to be tailored to you. We can look back at similar situations that have worked in the past and tweak them here or there to make sure that you are taken care of and the solution fits for everyone.
EXAMPLE: A gentleman we worked with had a rental property he was tired of managing. He wanted to be done with it, but had gotten used to the monthly income. Instead of paying him cash for his property, he sold it to us through owner financing. He no longer had to deal with tenants, and continues to get some money every month!

3.     Real Estate Investors are Timely – We can be in a rush when you need us to – getting you cash in as little as 10 days. Or maybe you need more time and don’t want to rush getting your house sold. We can also take it slow and give you the time you need to get all your ducks in a row.
EXAMPLE: We are always telling people that we can move quickly and get you cash in a little as 10 days! In this situation, we spoke to a couple interested in selling their house. We gave them an offer – but they weren’t quite ready to accept. They decided to try to sell using a realtor. After not getting any bites after a couple of months, they came back to us ready to accept our offer. As the condition of the house was still the same, we were more then happy to go forward with the sale. We closed just 15 days after they contacted us!
